BENEFITS OF GOD’S MERCY

1. FORGIVENESS.
The virtue of mercy obtains for us Grace and light and cleanses us from our sins, guides us to the sacrament of penance, and saves our souls from death. He will always forgive us our sins by His mercy, anytime we pray for repentance.

2. GOD’S MERCY IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE
This means, that nobody can describe the mercy of God.
The bible says the mercy of God is as high as the heavens
The mercy of God is made manifest to those who fear Him.
Habakkuk 3:2  says, “O Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy. ”

Mercy can be found in an appeal in prayer. Mercy can be found in divine authority. Mercy can be found in the power of God. Mercy can be found in the measurement of the Almighty. The commonest prayer in the Book of Psalms is, “Have mercy on me, O Lord.” Beloved, your greatest need is mercy and you will constantly need the mercy of God. You must appeal to God’s mercy. You must cry to God for mercy. You must proclaim the mercy of God on your life.  https://www.christianity.com/wiki/god/what-is-the-goodness-of-god.html

“But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.” Matthew 12:7 The Bible says that the mercy of God is great, rich, manifold, plenteous, everlasting, tender

3. HIS MERCY IS NEW EVERY MORNING.

The mercies of God are new every morning.

Lamentation 3:22-23 says

“Through the Lord`s mercies, we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness”

There is a place inside the tabernacle called the “Mercy Seat.”

This means that, if not for the mercy of God, the people of Israel would have been consumed.

4. THE MERCY  OF GOD ENDURES FOREVER. The mercy of God is not limited, His mercy is not for a moment or a season, and his mercy is not timed-bound. His mercy endures forever.

Psalms 118:1-4 says

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let Israel now say, “His mercy endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron now say, “His mercy endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord now say, “His mercy endures forever.”

God is patient in mercy to those who deserve to be punished.

God is patient in mercy because He is holding off the judgment of Justice to a later time

Friends, depend on God’s Mercy to you to live and enjoy His Grace and numerous blessings.

Remember what God said in Roman 9:16…

“I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”

It is God’s prerogative to show mercy to whomever He wishes. Therefore pray for God’s mercy in your life today and be blessed In Jesus’ name.
