A Text of Faith

Faith is the core of Christendom. Most of the miracles Jesus performed, He performed on the basis of the recipient’s faith showing you the importance of Faith, and just like the way gold passes through fire to be refined to become the precious gem it is so that it unleashes its full potential, that’s the same way your faith goes through a test to become stronger.During Christ’s time on earth with his disciples, He implored Test of Faith, to be able to teach His disciples what it means to have a solid Faith. Just like the period when there was a storm and Jesus was sleeping. He was woken and He stopped it, but tagged them to be men of little faith.

Another of this instance could be seen in the bible when Jesus walked on the sea and told Simon Peter to follow suit to demonstrate a typical example of the Test of Faith, and the challenges coupled with it.

From the above, it is evident that Jesus uses the Test of Faith not just to scare His disciples, but to teach them and make them stronger for He knew so well that they

Would be persecuted and that would be in His absence when He resurrects.

Test of Faith could also be a trap to make you come short of the glory of God as seen in the story of Job, in which the Test of Faith there was to make him fall but He took his stand and said: “I Know My Redeemer Liveth”.

Test of Faith and Temptations

The Human flesh is what makes humans fallible and the devil uses this to take advantage and make you succumb to the desires of the flesh and commit sin. And that is why it is very important for a believer to feed on the Word of God. The Word provides us wisdom, knowledge, strength, hope, comfort, peace, joy, courage, and understanding, on how to live the kingdom life and the power over the flesh, Satan, and the world.

The truth is that no one can have victory over the enmeny without the knowledge and deep understanding of the written word. Again, with the authority of the word, your faith can grow.  Your faith is sustained based on the word. Infact, it is God’s Word that holds the Keys to human basic needs and the answers that men are searching at the wrong places.

When the Devil wants to Tempt you, he(devils) fashions a weapon against you and that weapon is what you want and things you hardly say ‘NO’ to. But the grace of God is always sufficient to help in times like this.
Setback
One of the Tests of Faith is when the enemy attacks the establishment of believers like in the days of Job where Job lost everything for his faith was tested and he triumphed and was restored by God in 10,000 folds at the end.

In fact, many times, such occurs in varying circumstances, where you would have to make decisions as concerns standing your ground when your Faith is being tested. You can imagine a situation where you are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, there and then a quick remembrance of God’s promises would act as a guide to you.
Persecution

The early Church suffered this and they were treated as outlaws many were imprisoned and some were slaughtered by Non-Christians but they stood on their ground.

In this present time, Persecution could come from your workplace, friends, family members, spouse, strangers, and customers.  What do you? The victory is to allow the word of God and His Spirit to lead you rather than your emotions and feelings. That puts you on a side where you have to decide to either stand on your faith or try to please others.

Also, In the story of Saint Paul, where Paul prayed to God to remove the chains to which he was bound in because he was tried, God replied to him saying ‘My grace is sufficient for you.

In conclusion, whenever you fall, God empowers you to rise stronger by reconciliation, but you should always be equipped for The test of Faith because the Bible said ‘His grace is sufficient for us and the graces are bestowed on us.
